Nadine Afram studied physics at ETH Zurich, where she completed her doctorate in astrophysics on solar and stellar magnetic fields. She continued her post-doctoral research at Imperial College London and the Institute of Solar Physics in Freiburg. She then worked as a program developer at the Institute of Astrophysics at UZH and as a research associate in the NCCR PlanetS project at UZH. Since December 2024, she has been working as a Project Leader at the Evaluation Office.
