Simone Tuor Sartore studied economics at the University of Zurich (UZH). After graduating, she completed her doctorate in the field of personnel economics and economics of education at the Institute of Business Administration at UZH. During her doctoral studies, she spent a six-month research stay at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a post-doc, she continued her research in the field of personnel economics and economics of education and carried out various quantitative research projects. She then worked as a Scientific Program and Project Manager at the Swiss Leading House VPET-ECON, a competence center on the economics of education at the Universities of Zurich and Bern funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). Since May 2024, she has been working as a project leader at the Evaluation Office of the UZH.
